Over time, we’ve designed and adapted programs to meet the high standards of today’s world of education. By providing a supportive environment, we make sure each child receives exactly what they need.
As staff we aspire to provide a fun, yet academically stimulating environment, that allows each child to develop to his or her greatest potential. Playtime is especially important to us, for we believe that healthy physical development encourages valuable social skills.
Bright Star Learning Center offers a well-balanced program featuring age-appropriate math, language, art, music, science, and geography in a fun atmosphere.
We concentrate on the development of the whole child, which we believe will encourage the development of a healthy, confident individual by providing ample opportunities for:

2 Year Old Care
At Bright Star Learning Center we begin providing care for children at the age of 2. We work on independent skills such as potty training, handwashing, putting on clothing, and cleaning up after themselves.
Children are also introduced to cognitive skills such as counting, color identification, letters, and shapes through fun, engaging curriculum created by their teacher with each child's developmental level and goals in mind.
Preschool Program
Our preschool program is designed to prepare children for the next part of their educational journey as they enter the public school system.
Children learn through a themed curriculum that is developed by teachers based on the developmental needs of the children. As part of a whole child curriculum, children are taught not only cognitive skills but social and emotional, physical, and self-care skills as part of their everyday routine as well.
4K Wrap Around Care
As 4K in the St Croix Central School District is a half day program, Bright Star Learning Center provides care before and after school as well as full day care on no school days.
Children are provided learning opportunities created by the teacher in their classroom to continue their cognitive growth outside of the classroom.
